ROGERS PARK — An 18-year-old man was shot in his leg in Rogers Park Saturday evening, police said.

The man was standing in the 1400 block of West Morse Avenue, near the Morse Red Line station, around 6:35 p.m. when an unknown man walked up and shot at him before fleeing, according to Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was taken to St. Francis Hospital, where his condition stabilized, Sedevic said.

No one is in custody, Sedevic said.
