CHICAGO — Last fall's murder of fourth-grader Tyshawn Lee rocked the city, first with his death, then with the revelation that the boy was intentionally targeted to get back at his family amid a brutal gang war.
On Tuesday, prosecutors provided more horrifying details. Alleged gunman Dwright Boone-Doty, 22, is accused of laughing while describing killing the 9-year-old boy, writing a rap about the murder and originally planning to torture and mutilate Tyshawn.
