WEST GARFIELD PARK — A 25-year-old man died after being stabbed in his chest in West Garfield Park Tuesday evening, police said.

Around 5:45 p.m., the man was stabbed after getting into an argument that turned physical in the 3900 block of Jackson Boulevard, according to Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Sedevic said.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Fredrick Brown, of the 3800 block of West Adams Street.

No one is in custody, Sedevic said.
