WICKER PARK — The zombie apocalypse may be nigh, but fans of AMC's "The Walking Dead" don't have to ride it out at home.

To celebrate Sunday's premiere of the second half of the show's sixth season, Dead-heads (not those deadheads) can head to Geekbar, 1941 W. North Ave., which will host a ticketed viewing party Sunday evening.

Capitalizing on the premiere's coinciding with Valentine's Day, the event is being billed as "Rip Your Heart Out: A Very Special Viewing of The Walking Dead." For $35, guests can buy a four-course meal and a glass of Geekbar's "special Love Punch." The event starts at 6 p.m., and the episode will be shown at 8.

Cleo's, a Chicago Fire bar at 1935 W. Chicago Ave., will also change its TVs from international soccer matches to The Walking Dead every Sunday at 8 p.m.

• And "Dead" fans near Uptown can go to Fat Cat, 4840 N. Broadway, which will also turn down the lights and crank up the volume on every new episode when it airs.

• Elsewehere in Wicker Park, Emporium at 1366 N. Milwaukee Ave. will show the episode on a 20-foot screen while serving "special Valentine & Zombie Cocktails."

• Finally, R. Public House in Rogers Park, 1508 W. Jarvis, will show the episode and serve drink specials, according to its website.
