Meet The New Bridgeport Boathouse Advisory Council

BRIDGEPORT — It’s official: The new advisory council for the much-anticipated neighborhood boathouse has elected leaders.

Here’s a look at the election results tallied Jan. 25.

President: James Burns (Pilsen)

Vice President: Shannon Madden (Bridgeport)

Treasurer: Nancy Funk (Bridgeport)

Secretary: Jennie Biggs (Bridgeport)

The council will hold meetings the second Monday of every month at The Duck Inn. Here’s a look at the dates of upcoming meetings so you can mark your calendar:

• Monday

• March 14

• April 11

• May 9

• June 13

• July 11
