CHICAGO — A 24-year-old man was killed and two other men wounded in a shooting Wednesday in Englewood, police said.

At 7:15 p.m., the three men were in the 5700 block of South Green Street when they were shot, said Officer Nicole Trainor, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. A 24-year-old man was shot in the right cheek and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:01 p.m.

He was later identified as Lionell Williams, who lived on the same block where he was shot.

A 34-year-old man was shot in the foot and stomach and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was in serious condition, Trainor said. A 41-year-old man was taken to Stroger Hospital in fair condition.

The incident was possibly related to drugs, police said.
