LAKEVIEW — The end of the year is a great time to get closure, so let's share one last toast to the restaurants and businesses that are no more.
Almost 20 businesses in Lakeview closed this year, from Flaco's Tacos in February to The Alley, which announced its plans to close last month.
There is a silver lining: About a dozen places have already opened anew or have plans in place (but more on that later).
For now, best of luck in the new ventures of 2016.
