LINCOLN PARK — Jayson Home is out to prove that the days of making your own gifts or shopping for them in-person are far from over.

The home decor and furniture store is hosting a daylong event from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday in The Allis at Soho House, 113-125 N. Green St., described as "the antithesis of Cyber Monday."

At the "Analogue Shop," event-goers can expect "offline, in-person experiences" when they shop for gifts and make their own.

There will be a curated trunk show with some Jayson Home vintage goods that are not available online, as well as holiday greens, flowers and other plants.

Shoppers will be able to create their own holiday cards at a coloring station and compose custom poems as stocking stuffers using a vintage typewriter at a Haiku station.

There will also be an ornament crafting station and a Polaroid portrait station, where visitors can get their pictures taken against an old-school holiday backdrop.

Beginning at 2 p.m., The Allis will be serving tea.

The event is free and open to the public. For more information about Jayson Home, 1885 N. Clybourn Ave., visit the store's website.
