LITTLE VILLAGE — Two police officers were among three people injured Sunday night in a crash from a car chase involving a stolen van with a 2-year-old girl inside, police said.

Dozens of police vehicles were involved in the chase, which ended on Logan Boulevard Sunday night, according to witnesses.

Around 8:50 p.m., a man left his van running in the 3900 block of West Cermak Road while his daughter was inside, according to Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

Another man got into the van and sped off with the 2-year-old inside, Estrada said. Police responded to a call that the van had been stolen, and officers found and chased it.

The ensuing chase traveled through several western suburbs and ended in Logan Square, Estrada said, at the intersection of Logan Boulevard and California Avenue.

Police arrested the driver and brought the girl to Saint Mary's Hospital, Estrada said, where she was treated and released.

During the chase, Estrada said, a police car collided with another vehicle in the 2800 block of South Kostner Avenue.

Two officers and another man were brought to area hospitals, where they were treated for minor injuries, Estrada said.
