LOGAN SQUARE — A sparkling disco winter wonderland sounds like a beautiful dream.

That dream scene is actually happening inside an ice skating rink outside a bar.

Person's Chicken & Fish is teaming up with Do312 for its first ever winter disco Tuesday night.

Not only will there be disco jams from DJ White Mystery, but there will be a photo set up by Glitter Guts, an art installation by Johalla Projects and visuals by Sara Goodman.

There will be seasonal drinks and snacks "designed to keep you warm," according to the hosts.

Capacity is limited.

Those who RSVP through Do312 will get a free winter hat and a warm drink.

The event runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Parson's opened its skating rink last week and switched from real ice to synthetic ice to make sure warm or rainy weather doesn't prevent skating.

Early forecasts for next week predict highs in the mid '40s, so it appears that was a smart move.
