HYDE PARK — Augustana Lutheran Church is hosting a community Thanksgiving potluck on Thursday.

The church at 5500 S. Woodlawn Ave. will hold its third annual community potluck for those staying in the neighborhood for the holiday.

Members of the Hyde Park Village seniors group will cook and serve turkey and ham, but attendees are encouraged to bring a side or another dish to share.

The meal runs from 12:30-3 p.m. and is free.

Volunteers are asking attendees to call ahead to the church at 773-493-6491 or the senior group at 773-363-1933 so there is enough turkey and ham for everyone.
