Police Warn of Albany Park, North Park Burglaries

CHICAGO — There have been two recent burglaries in Albany Park and North Park, police warned.

During the burglaries, the thief or thieves smashed a glass or window or the glass window on a door to get into the businesses and then took money from the cash register, according to police.

During one of the incidents, a man in a white mask was seen breaking the window and going into the store, according to police.

The incidents occurred:

• 11 p.m.-8:45 a.m. Nov. 5-6 in the 4900 block of North Kedzie Avenue

• 12:15 a.m. Nov. 20 in the 3400 block of West Peterson Avenue

Anyone with information about the incidents is asked to call police at 312-744-8263.
