CHICAGO — A man was killed and another man was wounded in two separate shootings since Saturday, according to police.
A 29-year-old man was fatally wounded in a drive-by shooting in Chicago Lawn at 8:30 p.m. Saturday night, police said.
Early Sunday, a 24-year-old man was wounded in a shooting in Roseland, said Officer Jose Estrada, Chicago Police spokesman. The man was in the 100 block of West 109th Street at 3:10 a.m. when a shooter, who he knew, walked up and opened fire, Estrada said.
He was struck twice in his neck, Estrada said, and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition.
No arrests have been made as the investigations are ongoing, Estrada said.
