Chicago Symphony Orchestra Playing for Free at Burke Elementary School

HYDE PARK — The Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the University of Chicago will jointly celebrate their 125th anniversaries with a free concert at Burke Elementary School.

An ensemble of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra will perform Mozart’s "Divertimento in D" at 3:45 p.m. Monday at Burke, 5356 S. King Drive.

The event is free and open to the public, but space is limited and reservations can be made by visiting the event website.

The performance is sponsored by the Nagaunee Institute at the symphony and UChicago Arts and the Office of Civic Engagement at the university.
