EDGEBROOK — The Edgebrook Community Association will host an informal discussion Monday to give residents a chance to quiz Taft Principal Mark Grishaber about changes at the Norwood Park high school.

The session is designed to inform residents about changes at Taft High School that make it a good choice for students from the Far Northwest Side, organizers said.

Grishaber, who took over the school in July 2014, will tout the school's new rating as one of the city's best neighborhood high schools.

Grishaber often touts Taft as the city's best neighborhood high school in the city and has been working to turn around Taft's less-than-stellar reputation.

The discussion is scheduled to take place at 7 p.m. Monday at Edgebrook Elementary School, 6525 W. Hiawatha Ave., organizers said.
