PORTAGE PARK — Five homes in Portage Park and Dunning have been burglarized in recent weeks, police warned Sunday.
The incidents happened in the:
• 5600 block of west Waveland Avenue between Sept. 24 and Oct. 3
• 6300 block of west Melrose Street between 11 a.m. and 1:25 p.m. Oct. 6
• 5400 block of west Waveland Avenue at 6 p.m. Oct. 15
• 6000 block of west Warwick Avenue between 8:30 and 11 p.m. Oct. 24
• 5700 block of west Eddy Street between Oct. 27 and Oct. 29.
The burglars entered the homes and apartments through doors and windows and took electronics, jewelry and cash, police said.
