Average Bridgeport Home Sells In 19 Days, Data Shows

BRIDGEPORT — In Bridgeport, it takes about 19 days to sell a house.

That’s according to an analysis by Redfin Research Center, which recently studied a three-month period of Chicago home sales ending Sept. 31.

Citywide, a home typically sells in 24 days, the real estate company’s data showed.

The fastest-selling homes popped up in West Loop and Roscoe Village, which tied with a median of nine days on the market.

The median sale price of a Bridgeport homes? $343,800.

In nearby Brighton Park, that price dropped to $131,300, but homes stayed on the market the same amount of time: 19 days. In McKinley Park, homes lasted about 18 days with a median sales price of $242,700.

The priciest homes in Chicago showed up in North Center, where the median sales price hit $537,000. Bucktown followed at $525,700, and Lincoln Park came in third at $499,700.
