CHICAGO — Three people were wounded in shootings since Monday night, according to police.

Each of the city's three shootings occurred in Englewood or West Englewood, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

• The most recent shooting was around 10 p.m. Monday, when a 24-year-old woman was shot in West Englewood, Pacheco said. The woman was walking in the 6400 block of South Honore Street when she heard shots and felt pain, Pacheco said. She was shot in her leg and brought herself to Holy Cross Hospital in "stable" condition, Pacheco said.

• A 19-year-old man was shot in Englewood at 7:30 p.m. Monday night, Pacheco said. The man was walking in the 1000 block of West 70th Street when three men fired a single shot before running off, Pacheco said. He was struck in his right hand and was driven by a friend to Holy Cross Hospital in "stable" condition, Pacheco said.

• A 21-year-old man was in West Englewood Monday, Pacheco said. The man was in the 1600 block of West 62nd Street at 6:32 p.m. when someone on a bicycle opened fire before riding off, Pacheco said. The man was struck in his leg and buttocks and was taken to Stroger Hospital in "stable" condition, Pacheco said. The man is a documented gang member, police said.
