HYDE PARK — The Regenstein Library’s Used Book Sale starts Monday, but it might pay to wait a few days to check out the offerings.

The library on the University of Chicago campus at 1100 E. 57th St. will sell more than 10,000 duplicate and discarded books from its collections.

Prices are cut each day of the sale until the last day on Nov. 2, when books are free.

For those who want the best selection, it’s going to be pricey. Hardcovers start at $20 and $10 for paperbacks and CDs.

The book sale goes from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. every day in room A-10.
