Mother McAuley Hosts Its Annual Not-So-Haunted House on Oct. 28

MOUNT GREENWOOD — Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School will again host its Not-So-Haunted House from 4-6 p.m. Oct. 28.

The Halloween event is aimed at children from pre-school to third grade. This year’s theme is “Enchanted Forest,” and activities will include face painting, games, a princess photo booth and the signature not-so-haunted house.

It costs $2 per child to participate in the activities held on the campus of the all-girls Catholic school at 3737 W. 99th St. in Mount Greenwood. Adults are free, and children are encouraged to wear costumes.

Students involved in clubs and organizations at Mother McAuley host the various activities, including members of the International Thespian Society, Children’s Theater class, Acting I & II classes, Student Council, Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) club, National English Honor Society and National Art Honor Society.

Reservations are not required. Guests are asked to enter through the auditorium, with parking available in the west lot.
