• At 12:55 a.m., a 48-year-old man was walking on the sidewalk in the 7900 block of South Yates Boulevard in South Shore when a man walked up and shot at him, Estrada said. The victim was shot in his left arm and left foot. He was taken to South Shore Hospital and then was transferred to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in "stable" condition, Estrada said.

• At 11:10 p.m., a 20-year-old man was standing in a parking lot in the 600 block of East 133rd Street in Riverdale when a man got out of a green sedan and shot at him, Estrada said. The victim was shot in his right calf and taken to Roseland Hospital, where he was listed in "stable" condition, Estrada said.

• At 10:55 p.m., a 30-year-old man was walking on the sidewalk in the 7900 block of South Lowe Avenue in Auburn Gresham when someone in a passing dark-colored sedan fired at him, Estrada said. The man was hit in his left leg and taken to St. Bernard Hospital, where he was listed in "stable" condition, Estrada said.

The victim is a "self-admitted," documented gang member, and the incident might be gang-related, police said.
