MORGAN PARK — A man was hurt after being grazed by a bullet on the Far South Side Wednesday night, police said.

Around 10:10 p.m., the man went outside to smoke a cigarette in the 11400 block of South May Street when someone walked up and shot at him, according to Officer Ron Gaines, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was listed in fair condition with a graze wound in the chest, Gaines said.

No one is in custody, Gaines said.
