THE LOOP — The Virgin Hotel's Commons Club has new lunch and dinner menus, which now include a mini steak tattooed with black truffle ink.

The mini steak and frites is $24 and actually tattooed with a gun owned by Rick Gresh, the executive chef of the Loop hotel, 203 N. Wabash Ave.

"I'm having a lot of fun surprising our dining guests," Gresh said in a statement.

Other new items include beer cheddar churros served with a two-year-aged cheddar dip, pork belly tacos, and "fatty noodles" now with lobster, rapini and dashi. The Commons Club will also serve new cocktails.

The Commons Club, located on the hotel's second floor, is one of several dining options in the hotel including Miss Ricky's, Two Zero Three coffee and wine shop and Cerise rooftop bar. The hotel opened in January.
