LINCOLN PARK — While the Chicago Cubs are are getting ready for their wild card game Wednesday night, the Lincoln Park Zoo is staying focused on the city's other cubs: a pair of baby red pandas named Clark and Addison.

Named for the two streets that intersect at the main entrance of Wrigley Field, the panda cubs have been making steady progress since their June 26 birth, according to zookeepers.

Clark, a male, more than doubled in size since July 10, according to a zoo update published in August. But he was dwarfed by his sister, Addison, whose weight more than tripled in that time.

The cubs aren't ready for public viewing yet, according to zookeepers, but we expect they'll be rooting for their namesake team from their behind-the-scenes sanctuary.
