CHICAGO — One man has been killed and eight people wounded in shootings since Tuesday morning, police said.

At 3:15 p.m., two men were shot in Garfield Park, one of whom died hours later from his wounds, police said.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 7:50 p.m., a 19-year-od man was shot in his neck in the 1300 block of South Kostner Avenue in North Lawndale. Estrada said he did not have information about the man's condition or what hospital he was treated at.

• At 7:20 p.m., a 25-year-old man was shot in his foot in the 7200 block of South Marshfield Avenue in Englewood. He was taken to Holy Cross Hospital, where he was in good condition, Estrada said.

The man has been uncooperative, police said.

• At noon, a 25-year-old man was shot multiple times in the 1400 block of South Kostner Avenue in North Lawndale. He was hit in his abdomen and left side and taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he was in critical condition, Estrada said.

• At 9:15 a.m., two people were shot in the 3100 block of West Douglas Boulevard in North Lawndale. A 51-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man were outside when a car pulled up and someone got out and fired at them, Estrada said.

The woman was hit in her chin and the man was hit in his leg, Estrada said. They were taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where they were in "stable" condition, Estrada said.

• At 8:30 a.m., a 27-year-old man was in the 7200 block of South Phillips Avenue in South Shore when someone walked up to him and opened fire, Estrada said. He was hit in his leg and taken to Northwestern Hospital, where he was in good condition.

• At 8 a.m., a 22-year-old man was in the 100 block of West 112th Street in Roseland when he was shot in his arm and the side of his torso, Estrada said. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was in "stable" condition, Estrada said. No further information was available.

No one is in custody for these shootings.
