NORTH PARK — Resurfacing work on the mile of Pulaski Road between Peterson and Foster avenues, scheduled to start Tuesday, should wrap up by December, according to a notice from Ald. Margaret Laurino (39th).

Concrete work will take place first: ADA sidewalk improvements, curb and gutter removal, and bus pad construction.

Asphalt milling — removal of the top layer of existing asphalt — comes next, followed by paving and striping.

While construction is under way, temporary parking restrictions will be posted as necessary during working hours.

In January, the Chicago Department of Transportation released a list of 61 miles of arterial streets slated for repavement in 2015.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel has announced an annual goal of repaving at least 300 miles of roads per year.
