LINCOLN SQUARE — Relive the "rah rah sis boom bah" spirit of high school at Amundsen's inaugural Fall Fest, part of the school's Homecoming Week celebrations.
The entire community is invited to Wednesday's event, which features a pumpkin patch, entertainment and carnival games. Dozens of organizations and local businesses, including the Old Town School of Folk Music, Core Power Yoga and Groundswell Coffee Roasters, are also taking part in the fest.
Amundsen staff members will be manning the grill and the LunchBox and Ms. Tittle's Cupcakes food trucks will also be on site. Admission is free, or a donation, with food and games costing extra. All proceeds will benefit Amundsen's athletic programs.
Join in the fun from 5-8 p.m. in the school's Foster Avenue parking lot, one block west of Damen Avenue.
Cheer on the Vikings at Amundsen's homecoming game, 4:15 p.m. Friday at Jorndt Stadium, 5101 N. Leavitt St.
