ROGERS PARK — Parents confused about where to send their children to school next year have a chance to get their questions answered at an informational session Saturday.

From which school is the correct neighborhood school to when and if a child needs testing and more, the afternoon event aims to arm families with knowledge about where their child may get an education.

Organized by Neighbors Love Neighborhood Schools, a group of people who either live or work in the 49th Ward and advocate for local schools, the event will run from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Sullivan High School, 6631 N. Bosworth Ave.

Representatives from five neighborhood elementary schools — Gale, Jordan, Eugene Field, New Field Elementary and Kilmer Elementary — along with staff from Sullivan, will hold presentations and field questions.
