EDGEBROOK — North Branch Arts' annual fundraiser will give arts lovers a chance to laugh for a good cause.
Chicago comedian Pat McGann will headline the Art of Comedy fundraiser scheduled to take place from 7:30-11 p.m. Friday at 5421 W. Devon Ave.
McGann, of Beverly, appeared twice on "The Late Show with David Letterman," and is known for observational comedy that leans heavily on his experience of being a parent with three young children.
The event will also include food from Edgebrook restaurants, an art sale, raffle and music.
Edgebrook resident Bill Bunker, who moonlights as a comedian, will host the event.
North Branch Arts, which also cultivates a garden in downtown Edgebrook, offers classes and workshops in multidisciplinary art, literature, music, creative writing, gardening, test prep and financial literacy.
