CANARYVILLE — How about a bit of Broadway entertainment WAY off Broadway this weekend?
Go to St. Gabriel’s Lanny Sauris Auditorium, 4510 S. Wallace, Saturday to see Carl Desanti and Kenned Maciver sing show tunes from your favorite musicals.
“Kenned & Carl: Back on Broadway!” will feature a repertoire filled with pieces from “Phantom of the Opera,” “My Fair Lady,” “Grease” and “Les Miserables.”
Desanti is the organist and choir director at St. Gabriel Church and Maciver is his assistant.
Tickets cost $20. To make reservations, call 773-268-9595. All proceeds will help the church buy a new boiler system for the school.
After the performance, there will be a party with free appetizers and refreshments for sale.
