WEST LOOP — In an effort to get residents committed to their personal wellness, a West Loop group will host a wellness expo in the neighborhood Wednesday.
The Randolph/Fulton Market Association will host the West Loop Wellness Expo from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Merit School of Music, 38 S. Peoria St. The event is free and open to the public.
Local businesses who specialize in wellness and health care will exhibit at the expo. Businesses slated to attend include:
• Chicago Touch Spa
• Concentra Medical Center
• Crossfit 312 Personal Training
• Performance Training Systems
• Private Dental Services
• Wattage Personal Training
• West Loop Chiropractic & Sports Injury Center
“Personal wellness is key to life and key to a successful West Loop community, especially as we head into winter,” said Roger Romanelli, executive director of the association. “We want residents to discover wonderful local businesses and develop personal wellness plans. Many of these companies are hidden treasures in our community.”
Romanelli said other local businesses focused on health and wellness are invited to attend. The businesses must be in the greater West Loop area between Van Buren Avenue, Grand Avenue, Halsted Street and Ashland Avenue.
