HYDE PARK — The Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Robie House will start offering happy hour on Fridays.
The Robie House, 5757 S. Woodlawn Ave., will be serving drinks and hors d’oeuvres from 5-8 p.m. on Fridays in October.
Pianist Ryan Brewster will play pop and jazz standards after work in the house considered a classic of Wright’s prairie style of architecture.
The event is $35, $30 for members of the Frank Lloyd Wright Trust, and is a rare opportunity to see the house outside of guided tours.
