NORTH CENTER — Normally the owners of Embellish and Mainstream Boutique would like for their customers to walk out the door loaded with purchases.
This weekend, they want to be on the receiving end.
The shops are partnering on a clothing and accessories drive to benefit Sarah's Circle, an Uptown non-profit agency that provides women with the support they need to rebuild their lives.
So raid your closet and jewelry box for items you no longer want, but someone else could certainly use.
Drop off clothing at Mainstream, 4357 N. Lincoln Ave., and jewelry at Embellish, 4161 N. Lincoln Ave.
Because no good deed should go unrewarded, donors will receive 20 percent off toward their next purchase at the shop.
Donations will be accepted Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Each shop will host a kick-off party, 7-9 p.m., Friday, at its respective location.
