WICKER PARK — Intrepid eaters can stroll through the neighborhood while sampling food and drinks from up to 30 Wicker Park and Bucktown restaurants on four different routes at the upcoming fall dinner crawl.
Scheduled for 6-9 p.m. next Tuesday, the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce's 4th annual dinner crawl is divided into "fork," "knife," "spoon" and "plate" routes, with each journey featuring up to nine local eateries.
This year's edition of the popular event — which has sold out in past years — features several newcomers such as Columbus Curry, 1359 N. Milwaukee Ave.; Mr. Kite's Chocolate, 2120 W. Division St.; Taus Authentic, 1846 W. Division; Barley and Brass; 2015 W. Division; and Izakaya Mita, 1960 N. Damen Ave.
The routes also include standby restaurants that have been open for many years such as The Smoke Daddy, Jerry's Sandwiches and Club Lucky, among others.
Tickets, which include tasting portions at each restaurant, are $30 and can be bought here. A $45 option for the especially hungry includes both the spoon and plate routes.
