CHICAGO — A 31-year-old man was killed in a shooting early Tuesday morning, police say.

The man was fighting another man at 3:05 a.m. in the 3300 block of North Keeler Avenue in Irving Park when the other man produced a gun and shot at the victim, said Officer Jose Estrada, Chicago police spokesman.

The victim was shot in his chest and taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead, Estrada said.

The shooting is possibly gang related, police said.
