'Gone to the Dogs' Serves Up Beer & Wine for Canines

CHICAGO — A fundraiser for Furever Rescue will take place in West Town Sep. 23.

"Gone to the Dogs" will feature wine, liquor, pop, appetizers and a raffle and silent auction.

The event goes from 6-9 p.m. Sept. 23 at Dugan's on Halsted, 128 S. Halsted St.

Tickets are $35 per person at the door and benefit the volunteer-run nonprofit organization.

Furever Rescue fosters homeless dogs and provides them with medical care to prepare for adoption.

The nonprofit also asks for dog sponsorship through its website as well as the donation of items on its wish list.
