LITTLE ITALY — Near West Side kids heading back to school next week are invited to a back to school celebration at Sheridan Park Thursday.
The Back to School Bash at Sheridan Park will feature food, music and fun from 6-8 p.m. at the park, 910 S. Aberdeen St. in Little Italy.
The event will feature arts and crafts, free food, live music, fall program demonstrations, tug o' war, face painting and more fun. Children ages 6 and up are invited to attend the party.
The park district will be giving out free Brookfield Zoo tickets while supplies last.
The event is free and open to the public.
The Back the School Bash at Sheridan Park is sponsored by the Chicago Park District, the 12th District Police, Ald. Danny Solis' 25th Ward office, Galileo, Andrew Jackson Language Academy and the University Village Association.
