Police Warn Jefferson Park Residents About Four Daytime Burglaries

JEFFERSON PARK — Four Northwest Side homes have been burglarized during the daytime and early evening in recent weeks, police warned.

The incidents happened in the:

• 4700 block of North Lamon Avenue between 3 and 6 a.m. Aug. 14
• 5100 block of North Lovejoy Avenue between 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Aug. 22
• 5200 block of West Strong Street between 8 a.m. and 11:50 p.m. Aug. 28
• 5300 block of West Winona Street at 12:20 p.m. Aug. 29

The burglars entered the homes and apartments through doors and took electronics, jewelry and cash, police said.

Anyone with information about the crimes can call detectives at 312-747-8263.

Earlier this week, police warned about a spate of burglaries in Portage Park.
