CHICAGO — Police are warning of recent robberies in Englewood and West Elsdon.
During both robberies, a man walked up to the victims, told them he was robbing them and demanded their property, according to a Chicago Police community alert.
The incidents occurred:
• 12:35 p.m. Aug. 26 in the 4100 block of West 60th Street
• 8:44 p.m. Aug. 31 in the 5800 block of South Keeler Avenue
The thief is described as a white Hispanic man who is 16-21 years old, 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-8, 130-145 pounds and has a shag-style haircut.
Anyone with information about the incidents is asked to call police at 312-747-8382.
