CHICAGO — Put those Halloween decorations AWAY, stores. We aren't ready to let go of summer just yet and the temperatures are proof of that. Here are five ways to soak up these warm days.

1. Watch "The Breakfast Club" in Millennium Park: The Downtown park's summer film series will close Tuesday night with the classic 1985 John Hughes movie about five high schoolers who meet in detention. Time to get nostalgic. 6:30 p.m. Jay Pritzker Pavilion, 201 E. Randolph St. Free.

2. Enjoy an ‘Electric Chair’ on the Cheap: Not as if Lockdown’s half-priced burger night needs any more publicity, considering waits can be as long as 90 minutes for a back or sidewalk patio spot, but if you want a good burger, such as an "Electric Chair,” a patty topped with jalapeno relish, sauteed onions, blue cheese crumbles and Buffalo sauce, it will cost you just $7 instead of the usual $14 on Tuesdays. View the entire burger menu. Lockdown Bar & Grill, 1024 N. Western Ave. Hours are 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Monday-Friday. Ph: 773-451-5625.

3. Park Yourself on Paramount's Room's Patio for a Burger and FREE Beer.   There's just three more nights to take advantage of Paramount's 8th anniversary week specials, which include a free pint of specialty beer with any burger order from the swanky yet cozy eatery located along Milwaukee Avenue's "Hipster Highway" between Downtown and Wicker Park. Paramount offers a serene side patio to enjoy the late summer night and first day of September. Paramount Room, 415 N. Milwaukee Ave. in River West.

4, Read, Swing Or Splash At Pottawattomie Park’s New Playground: Summer is ending, and fast. That means it’s time to get out and enjoy the parks while we can — especially the new ones with towering flower-shaped, water-spouting features. It’s hot this week, go splash while you still can! Or, check out the new playground at Hartigan Beach Park, 1050 W. Albion Ave. Pottawattomie Park, 7340 N. Rogers Ave., Free.

5. Eat a Taco By The River: The Hideout Riverwalk is getting a visit from the Big Star Taco Truck today. Grab a taco and listen to Devil in a Woodpile, a Chicago-based country-blues outfit that is playing at 5:30. 35 E. Riverwalk South. Concert is free.
