WICKER PARK — Hanging around the neighborhood this weekend? Here are our picks for stuff to do in the Wicker Park area.

Friday

Last Call for Songs, Jokes: Entertain the crowd with your best song or funniest joke at the season's final Wicker Mic Open Mic, a monthly all-ages talent show in the park. Local songwriter, singer and guitarist Brian Doherty will headline the "treasured closing act slot," according to Our Urban Times. Sign-up starts at 5:45 p.m. Each act gets five minutes. From 6 to 9 p.m. near the park's softball field, 1425 N. Damen Ave.

Join Critical Mass, Annoy Motorists: The last Friday of every month means a massive group ride with hundreds of cyclists traveling together from Downtown through neighborhood streets, often shutting down or delaying motorized traffic. Critical Mass ride, starts at 6 p.m., Daley Plaza, 50 W. Washington St.

Saturday

Scour Deals from 14 Local Boutiques: The Wicker Collective teams up for another big warehouse sale, offering discounted summer threads, home goods, jewelry and accessories to make space for new inventory.  Moon Voyage, Penelope's, Milk Handmade, Emma, Trillium, Glass House Shirtmakers, Stock Mfg, Some like Us Vintage, Humboldt House, Study Hall, Madein, Tarnish, Stitch are on board so far. The Wicker Collective's two-day multi-boutique sale runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in Chop Shop's 1st Ward Events, 2033 W. North Ave. Free.

Hang Out with Models, Ride a (Mechanical) Bull: The 7th annual Chicago Fashion Fest returns to Division Street with two days of runway shows, live music, kids and canine activities, plus mechanical bull rides for adults and children. From noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday on Division Street between Damen and Wood. Admission is a $5 suggested donation; bull rides and bounce house cost extra.

Find Cool, Original Art: Expecting to draw 30,000 art lovers from around the Midwest, the 30th annual Bucktown Arts Fest features works for sale by 195 artists, plus music, food trucks and kids activities. From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in Senior Citizens Memorial Park at 2300 N. Oakley Ave. in Bucktown, just east of Western Avenue and behind Holstein Park. Free.

Meet East Village Neighbors: The East Village Association's annual summer get-together will offer games, grilling plus a bounce house, music, food and beer, according to the neighborhood group's blog. On Iowa, between Wolcott and Honore. Noon to 7 p.m. Free.

Dance like it's Still 1995: A popular 90s music dance party will celebrate its fifth anniversary with a free PBR-sponsored bar for early arrivers who RSVP through Do312. 9 p.m. Beauty Bar, 1444 W. Chicago Ave. 

Sunday

Score Fresh Produce:  The Wicker Park Farmers Market keeps getting better every week, with a crepe and coffee stand, plus nearly 20 vendors (see the full list here) offering eggs and ham; local honey, bourbon-infused syrup, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, flowers and more. From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., 1425 N. Damen Ave. in the park.

Get a Crash Course in Shakespeare: The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) [revised] will be performed by Theatre Hikes. The troupe's three actors will attempt to present all of Shakespeare's 37 works and 154 sonnets in a fast and jam-packed 97 minutes. Starts in Wicker Park at 11 a.m., 1425 N. Damen Ave.

Meet Lord Stanley at Masada: The Stanley Cup will stop by Masada for a $50 per ticket photo shoot, to benefit kids in the Middle East and athletes getting back into the game through a new charity headed by Blackhawks' Daniel Carcillo. From 4 to 5 p.m., $50 at the door, Masada, 2206 N. California Ave.
