CHICAGO — A 50-year-old man was shot in the wrist in Pilsen early Friday morning, according to police.

The man was walking in the alley of the 1600 block of South Blue Island Avenue when an unknown gunman in a dark car pulled up and opened fire, according to Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

He was shot in his left wrist and was driven to University of Illinois Hospital where he is listed in stable condition, Sedevic said.

No arrests have been made .
