All right, you caught us. It's Friday and this is what we're reading, OK?

If You Had to Choose a Fictional Boss to Work For, Who Would It Be?: Staffers with The A.V. Club gave their picks, which range from Liz Lemon of "30 Rock" to Jean Luc-Picard of "Star Trek." For reporter Mina Bloom, it's either Howard "Bunny" Colvin from "The Wire" or Leslie Knope from "Parks and Recreation." Colvin has the slight edge, because, well, it's "The Wire" and nothing compares.

Seeing double: At first, senior editor Andrew Herrmann suspected a production problem at the Sun-Times when reading the Richard Roeper print reviews of the movies "The Runner" and "Zipper." Then, he realized it was just a bit of cleverness. The approach works better in the paper (C'mon, cheapskate! It's only a buck!) but you can get a sense of the idea here.

"The Runner" is a lot like "Zipper," critic Richard Roeper says.

Dynamic duo: "Chicago Med," the third leg of Dick Wolf's locally made TV steamroller, has been beset by some troubles, with its supervisor quitting earlier this month. The Hollywood Reporter says that a new duo now has been hired to helm the sibling show of "Chicago Fire" and "Chicago PD": husband-wife team Andrew Schneider and Diane Frovlov. The couple's resume includes co-producing HBO's "Boardwalk Empire" and winning Emmys for "The Sopranos" and "Northern Exposure" — all quality stuff.  Production starts next month, so, ya know, figure out where you can park, now.
