CHICAGO — The saga behind Chief Keef's newborn son's name took another bizarre twist Thursday.

Less than 24 hours after issuing a statement christening the Chicago rapper's newborn child with a web address (for Keef's label) as a middle name, FilmOn.com said Thursday it is "retracting" the child's right to the moniker.

Dave Matthews with the latest update:

Owen Phillips, a spokesman for FilmOn CEO David Alki, said the latest move was due to a paternity dispute over the child, currently named Sno FilmOn Dot Com Cozart according to earlier statements.

"In light of new developments disputing that Chief Keef is the father of Baby Sno, the streaming TV and music platform FilmOn.com is retracting the right to let the mother use the middle name FilmOn Dot Com until paternity is settled. We wish [the mother] all the best."

TMZ reported earlier that Keef's camp was denying paternity of the child. Phillips declined to address the report, which contradicted his statement about the child Wednesday, when asked about it by DNAinfo. A message to Phillips was not immediately returned.

On Wednesday, Alki said the middle name was meant to promote Keef's future album "Bang 3," which was released earlier this month but has a second installment coming Sept. 18.
