CHICAGO — Shootings left two men dead and 11 other people wounded since Monday morning, police said.

Around 9:30 p.m. Monday, a man was killed and a woman was wounded in a shooting in Garfield Park, according to Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

About 25 minutes earlier, another man was found shot to death less than a half-mile away, Estrada said.

Late Monday morning a man was in stable condition after being shot in both his legs in Irving Park, Estrada said.

• Most recently, around 12:45 a.m. Tuesday, a 30-year-old man was standing with a group of people in the 7500 block of Emerald Avenue in Auburn Gresham when someone walked up and shot at him, Estrada said.

The man was taken to Christ Medical Center in stable condition, Estrada said.

• At 11:05 p.m. Monday, a 24-year-old man was sitting in a car talking to a 27-year-old woman in the 1300 block of East 72nd Street in Greater Grand Crossing when a dark sedan pulled up and someone inside shot at them, Estrada said.

The man drove himself to Jackson Park Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition with a gunshot wound in his abdomen, Estrada said.

The woman also was taken to Jackson Park, where her condition stabilized after being treated for a gunshot wound in her wrist, Estrada said.

Police said the man is a documented gang member, and they believe the shooting to be gang-related.

• Around 9:30 p.m., two men were sitting on a porch in the 100 block of East 114th Place in Roseland when someone shot at them, Estrada said.

Both men walked into Roseland Hospital, Estrada said. One, 23, was transported to Christ Medical Center in critical condition with multiple gunshot wounds.

The other man, 31, was in stable condition with a gunshot wound in his leg, Estrada said.

Police said they believe the shooting to be gang-related.

• About 6:35 p.m. Monday, a 15-year-old boy was standing in the 4000 block of South California Avenue in Brighton Park when another boy rode up on a bicycle and asked about his gang affiliation, Estrada said.

He then pulled out a gun and shot the teen twice in his shoulder before driving away on his bike, Estrada said.

The boy was brought to Mount Sinai Hospital in stable condition, Estrada said.

• Less than an hour earlier, three teenagers were standing in the 4800 block of South Evans Avenue in Grand Boulevard when someone jumped out of a newer gray car and shot at them, Estrada said.

One boy, 13, was in stable condition after being brought to Comer Children's Hospital with gunshot wounds in his right leg and foot, Estrada said.

An 18-year-old man was in stable condition at University of Chicago Medical Center with a gunshot wound in his left thigh, Estrada said.

Later, Estrada said, a 15-year-old boy walked into Comer with a graze wound in his hip.

Police said all three victims were documented gang members, and they believe the shootings to be gang-related.
