CHICAGO — A man was killed and six others were wounded in shootings across Chicago between Wednesday and early morning Thursday, police said.

Both men were seated in a car when they were shot, Estrada said. The 19-year-old was taken by ambulance to Mount Sinai Hospital and the 20-year-old was transported by a family member to Loretto Hospital.

A source said the shooting might have been gang related.

Estrada said the boy was outside in the 11500 block of South Morgan Street when a man drove up in a car, got out of the car and opened fire. The boy was hit in the neck and buttocks and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition, Estrada said.
