CHICAGO — The Academy Is, Taking Back Sunday, Alkaline Trio and a bevvy of other bands on the Riot Fest lineup will play after shows around Chicago Sept. 10-13, organizers announced Thursday.

Local venues Cobra Lounge, Bottom Lounge, Concord Music Hall, House of Blues and Double Door will play host to 13 official after shows from Thursday to Sunday. Other acts include Drive Like Jehu, Government Issue, Thrice, Babes in Toyland, The Dead Mlkmen, Screwdriver and The Damned.

Tickets are sold by show through each venue, and prices vary. Tickets go on sale at noon Thursday.

All after shows start at 10 p.m except for Thursday's The Academy Is show at Double Door, which starts at 7 p.m. All shows are 18+, and some will only admit fans 21 and over.

Headliners at this year's festival include No Doubt, System of a Down, Modest Mouse, Iggy Pop and Snoop Dogg. Single- and two-day tickets are still available online, and three-day passes can be purchased at the fourth-tier ticket price of $189.98.

This will be the festival's first year in North Lawndale. In May, Riot Fest announced plans to relocate to Douglas Park after months of conflict with the Humboldt Park community.

The new location is not without controversy: earlier this week, protestors demonstrated at a Chicago Park District board meeting voicing concerns about communication with organizers and the three-day festival's impact on the park's infrastructure.

Riot Fest 2015 runs Sept. 11-13 at Douglas Park, 1401 S. Sacramento Drive.
