The Search Is On For South Side's Best Business Pitch

HYDE PARK — South Side Pitch is looking for the business pitch on the South Side.

South Side businesses that want to compete for the best three-minute pitch have until Aug. 21 to apply for the Oct. 1 competition at the University of Chicago’s Chicago Innovation Exchange, 1452 E. 53rd St., hosted by the Institute for Justice Clinic on Entrepreneurship.

Semi-finalists will be picked by Sept. 5 and will be asked to make a short video pitch for the finals on Oct. 1 between the top five pitches.

The finalists will pitch in front of a panel of expert judges and an audience of investors, entrepreneurs and community leaders.

The prizes have yet to be announced.
