CHICAGO — No weekend plans? We're here to help.

1. Don’t Be Shy: The Culture Coach, a self-contained traveling pop-up stage, will set up Saturday at Olympia Park. Presented by Kuumba Renaissance, from Madison, Wisconsin, and Elastic Arts, the event will include a performance from DJ Ayana and a performance by a local band. Brushes, paint, and a large canvas will be available for the audience to create a painting after dancing and singing. From 5:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Olympia Park, 6566 N. Avondale Ave. Free.

2. Paleta-palooza: Join Albany Park Neighbors on a “paleta paseo” as they lead a walk along Lawrence Avenue from one frozen treat paleteria to the next. Last year’s paleta crawl hit up a half-dozen stops. Pro tip: If you’re worried about your diet, fruit paletas have fewer than 50 calories. Meet at 4 p.m. Sunday at La Michoacana Premium, 3108 W. Lawrence Ave. Individuals are responsible for their own purchases

3. Not Just Pretty Flowers: Fifteen private gardens in Norwood Park will be open to the public Saturday to benefit the Norwood Park Senior Center. The walk to take place from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person in advance or $25 on the day of the event, which will start at the Noble-Seymour-Crippen House, 5624 N. Newark Ave.

4. Find New Treasures At Estes Neighborhood Garage Sale: Time to give the ole’ piggy bank a shakedown: It’s garage sale season, folks. On Estes Ave. in Rogers park, neighbors will have lots of goodies on full display in yards and alley garages, so make sure to shop early! Begins at  9 a.m. on Estes Ave. between Ridge and Western Saturday July 25. Free, except for price of takeaways.

5. Shop Deals and Steals on Clark Street: Support local Clark St. businesses this weekend at Andersonville’s sidewalk sale. Tons of merchants will be offering discounted wares and goods from Friday to Sunday. Don’t miss Rad Vintage’s $20 “Fill-a-Bag” sale or Women & Children First’s used book sale on Saturday and Sunday. Businesses from 5000 - 5800 N. Clark St. are participating. Here’s a full list.
