ANDERSONVILLE — Looking for a spot to rest after all that shopping on Clark Street?

You're in luck: Andersonville's people spot returned this week. This time, it's situated at 5212 N. Clark St. by the site of the city's largest Pastoral Artisan Cheese, Bread & Wine, which is slated to open in late summer, and clothing boutique Presence, 5216 N. Clark St.

People spots transform parking spots into playful places for people to gather. This is the third year that the people spot has been on the Clark Street block, according to Jessica Hammer, marketing director for the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce.

On Wednesday, a lot of people, including couples, teenagers and families, were seen congregating at the people spot.

Hammer said the plan is to install plants Friday or Saturday. The people spot will remain there until November, depending on the weather, she said.
